The existing frontage required a major overhaul, so the first stage of the project involved removing more than 50 tonnes of concrete, spoil and unwanted material from the site. Once the area had been cleared, the ground could be excavated and properly prepared for the new driveway and surrounding landscaping.
As part of the groundwork, new drainage was installed, along with preparation for a new mains gas pipe. This work was completed before the new driveway surface was laid, helping ensure the finished area was properly prepared from the ground up.
The main feature of the project was the installation of a new block paved driveway, creating a much smarter entrance to the property while also providing considerably more practical off-road parking.
